Glabrous or subglabrous annual, 20-75, diffuse or climbing. Leaflets 5-8-paired, 3-25 x 0,5-4 mm, oblong to narrowly linear; stipules dimorphic, one minute and linear, the other stipitate and palmately laciniate; tendrils usually 3-branched. Peduncle longer to shorter than leaf, 1-flowered. Flowers 10-15 mm, lilac. Calyx 4-7 mm, hardly to distinctly gibbous, mouth very slightly oblique, ± pubescent to subglabrous; teeth as long as or longer than tube, subequal, subulate-lanceolate. Limb of standard as long as claw, narrow. Legumes oblong-linear, 20-30 x 5-8 mm, subtorulose, glabrous. Seeds 2-4, hilum short. Fl. 3-6. Pinus woods, rocky limestone slopes, macchie, meadows, 50-800 m.
