Glabrous annual, 8-35 cm, many with thin, ± zig-zag, ascending stems. Leaflets 3-6-paired, 0,3-1 x 0,2-0,6 cm, cuneate-obovate to cuneate-oblong, obtuse to retuse; stipules ovate, incised-dentate, with few to many teeth, the upper often ± dimorphic; tendrils very short, simple or branched. Peduncle about as long as leaf, 2-5-flowered. Flowers 10-16 mm, bicoloured. Calyx 3-6 mm, almost regular, not gibbous, subglabrous; teeth about as long as tube, subequal, triangular at base, narrowly filiform-subulate above. Standard retuse, bluish, with limb as long as claw; wings yellowish. Legume 9-16 x 6-8,5 mm, broadly oblong-crescentic, with convex upper edge, truncate to very shortly beaked, valves scarious. Seeds 1-3, hilum very short. Fl. 4-6. Pinus forests, 700-1070 m.
