Closely resembling G. septemfida in most respects, but often more robust, stems to 40 cm with to 20 internodes. Flowers mostly 5-merous. Calyx 16-30 mm; lobes linear-lanceolate, acute. Corolla pale yellow to cream, 30-45 mm; subsidiary lobes ± dentate. Fl. 8-9. Open grassland and pasture, 2000-3200 m.
