Perennial, with few lax rosettes, dioecious. Basal leaves interruptedly pinnate or laxly 2-3-pinnatisect, blade oblong, glandular-pubescent, usually with adpressed eglandular hairs as well; segments pinnately divided to the middle into short, 2-3-crenate lobes, or more deeply 1-2-pinnatifid into oblong-lanceolate laciniae. Stems 7-15 cm, patently glandular-pubescent, usually diffuse and widely branched. Sepals 5-6 mm in flower, glandular-pubescent, often reflexed; awn 1-2,8 mm. Petals bright pink, obovate, 1-1 ½ x sepals. Beak of fruit 4-6 cm, stout.
