Geranium ibericum

Softly hairy perennial, 15-40 cm; rhizome horizontal. Stems eglanduler, patently pilose and sometimes shortly pubescent. Lower leaves palmatifid to ¾ - 4/5 , nervation less prominent than in G. platypetalum, 4-9 cm diam.; segments· cuneate-rhombic, deeply 3-fid into broadly incised or deeply crenate-dentate lobes. Longest bracts 3-7 mm. Pedicels patently long-pilose and puberulent, or long-pilose and glandular-pubescent. Sepals 9-11 mm, patently long-pilose and shortly puberulent, sometimes also glandular-pubescent below; awn 1,5-2,5 mm. Petals obcordate, 16-24 mm, violet-blue. Mericarps puberulent and pilose.
