Saxatile perennial, shortly villose and eglandular throughout, 10-12 cm. Caudex branched, sheathed in old leaf bases. Leaves mostly basal, 2-2,5 cm diam., palmatifid to 2/3 ; segments broadly cuneate, shortly and obtusely 3-lobulate. Sepals ± connivent in fruit, 6.5 mm; awn 0,2-0,5 mm. Petals at least twice as long as sepals, obovate-oblong, long-clawed. Mericarps puberulent, dorsally rugose. Fl. 4-5. In rock crevices.
Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Related to G. glaberrimum.
