Stems 10-55 cm, erect to decumbent or rarely prostrate. Leaves 5-31 mm, elliptic or lanceolate to linear, cuneate or rarely truncate, without or with an irregular row of intramarginal black glands, without superficial ones. Sepals ± unequal, broadly imbricate, broadly ovate or elliptic to lanceolate, ± long-acuminate, entire, usually without black glands, rarely with an apical one. Petals 15-30 mm, without black glands or rarely with an apical gland, or a few marginal ones. Capsule 5-10 mm, ovoid to globose.
