Stems 15-50 cm, erect or decumbent at base, glabrous, eglandular or with small reddish glands not or scarcely prominent. Leaves on main stems 8-28 mm, narrowly oblong to linear, sometimes revolute, rounded, glabrous, ± glaucous. Inflorescence subcorymbose, many-flowered. Sepals oblong to ovate-lanceolate, acute to rounded, united at the base or to the middle, glandular-denticulate or with subsessile glands. Petals 5-7 mm, sometimes orange-red to crimson. Capsule 5-7 mm, subglobose, not or scarcely rostrate. Fl. 4-6. Dry calcareous slopes or steppe, 360-900 m.
