Stems 3-11 cm, erect, sometimes creeping and rooting at the base, glabrous, scabrid with branched glandiferous emergences towards the base. Leaves on main stems 6-18 mm, linear, revolute, rounded or subapiculate, glabrous to undulate-papillose, glaucous or not. Inflorescence corymbose, 3-c. 22-flowered, or flowers solitary. Sepals lanceolate to oblong-elliptic, acute to rounded,united in the lower ½-2/3 , with sessile or subsessile glands. Petals 5-7 mm, without black glands. Capsule c. 4 mm, ovoid, not or slightly rostrate. Fl. 6-7. Calcareous hillsides & lavas, 980-1500 m.
