Biennial. Stems 50-100 cm or more, greyish-pubescent. Leaves shortly petiolate, lamina of lower ones ovate to suborbicular, coarsely and irregularly dentate or crenate, of upper ones ovate to lanceolate, coarsely dentate, acute. Calyx 5-6 mm; tube 3-4 mm, with 10 indistinct veins, teeth ± patent. Corolla pale pink, 5-6 mm, subequal to calyx; upper lip pubescent; tube without a ring of hairs inside. Fl. 6-8. Waste ground, nr s.l.
