Stems ascending to erect, 20-50 cm. Plant densely white-tomentellous with short dendroid hairs. Median leaves 8-14 x 6-9 mm, ovate-elliptic, entire. Verticillasters 3-10, cymes shortly pedunculate, patent and secund, more spreading than in the other species. Bracteoles linear to linear-subulate, much shorter than calyces. Calyx tube straight, 4-6 mm, bilabiate to 1/5, upper teeth triangular-muticous, 0.4-0.6 mm, lower triangular-subulate, 1-1.5 mm. Corolla rose or lilac, 7-9 mm. Fl. 7-8. Rocky and chalky slopes and screes, 1200-1830 m.
