Stems 25-40 cm or more, reddish, densely and softly crispate-pubescent and with patent glandular hairs but lacking rigid setae. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, median with 1.5-9 mm petiole , lamina 13-45 x 4-20 mm, acute or acuminate, dentate, pubescent, glandular or eglandular. Bracteoles 5-6.5 mm, ending in a 0.5-1 mm setule, softly glandular-pubescent. Calyx 8-10 mm, tube 5.5-6 mm. Corolla 16-25 mm, tube whitish, lips mauvish-pink with yellow blotches. Fl. 7-9. Meadows, disturbed ground, waste places, 700-1800 m.
