Perennial; stems many, 18-30 cm, decumbent, densely adpressed pilose to ± villous, eglandular. Leaves triangular-ovate, 6-15 x 5-15 mm, slightly to densely pilose with numerous sessile glands, crenulate, truncate to subcordate; petiole 1-20 mm. Inflorescence of distant or approximating many-flowered verticillasters, shortly pedunculate. Bracteoles linear, ± equal to calyx. Calyx tubular, 7-8 mm, purplish-pink or green, slightly curved, scarcely oblique, villous with eglandular hairs, short glandular papillae and sessile glands; teeth narrowly lanceolate, c. 1/3 length of tube, ± regular. Corolla pinkish, 9-13 mm; tube narrow, included or exserted from calyx teeth. Nutlets oblong, c. 1.5 x 0.75-1 mm, tuberculate overall. Fl. 6. Limestone and rocky slopes, with Abies cilicica, 1270-2000 m.
