Subshrub to 35 cm, hirtello-pubescent. Branches to 10 pairs per stem, to 4 cm, Leaves petiolate to subsessile , ovate or elliptic, 3-16 x 1-12 mm, ± acute. Spicules c. 2-8 x 3 mm. Bracts ovate or elliptic, 1-3 x 0.5-1.5 mm, ± obtuse. Calyx c. 2 mm; upper lip with lobes or ± broadly triangular teeth to c. 2/5; lower lip ± as long as upper lip, consisting of broadly triangular teeth. Corolla white, 2.5-4 mm. Fl. 7-8. Rocky limestone slopes, 1500-1800 m.
