Subshrub, to 35 cm, tomentose. Branches to 10 pairs per stem, to 13 cm. Leaves petiolate to subsessile , roundish, ovate or elliptic, 2-14 x 1.5-12 mm, ± obtuse. Spicules c. 3-10 x 3 mm. Bracts obovate or elliptic, 1.5-4 x 1.5-3 mm, ± obtuse. Calyx c. 2 mm; upper lip with lobes or ± broadly triangular teeth to c. 2/5, or subentire; lower lip ±as long as upper lip, consisting of broadly triangular teeth. Corolla pink, 2.5-5 mm. Fl. 7-9. Rocks and slopes, c. 1500 m.
