Suffruticose perennial. Stems simple or branched above, erect or ascending, 12-30 cm, recurved-puberulent, hairs 0.1-0.2 mm. Leaves cuneate-oblanceolate, 6-16 x 2-5 mm, mucronate, without visible lateral veins below, scabrid-pubescent, greyish. Inflorescence usually long and lax , 2-20 cm. Verticillasters 2-flowered, flowers subsessile. Floral leaves 1-2 x calyces. Calyx 3-4.5 mm, sub-bilabiate nearly to middle, pubescent; teeth 1/3-1/ 2 x calyx, lanceolate-subu1ate. Corolla white , 6-8 mm, Nutlets 1-1.4 mm, obovate-oblong, very obtuse. Fl. 7-8. Rocky slopes, on schist and limestone, cliffs, 300-2000 m.
