Perennial, 20-35 cm, simple or little-branched, densely adpressed woolly-tomentose, eglandular. Basal leaves oblanceolate to broadly elliptic, lingulate-cuneate, petiole 1-3 cm; cauline leaves 2-3-paired, internodes 4-10 cm, lamina 4-6 x 0.8-1 cm, obtuse, finely crenate-denticulate to entire. Verticillasters 5-12, all crowded or lowermost 1-2.5 cm distant. Middle bracts ovate to orbicular, 1-1.7 x 0.8-1 cm, suddenly acuminate . Calyx 8-10 mm, densely hairy, teeth linear-lanceolate, acute, 3.5-4.5 mm. Corolla yellow, 11-13 mm, hairy inside. FI. 7-8. Rocky limestone slopes, open Cedrus forest, 900-2500 m.
Endemic. Near to S. taurica.
