Perennial, 30-90 cm, simple or branched, densely adpressed cobwebby-woolly, eglandular, or glabrescent and glandular-hairy. Middle cauline leaves lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, lamina 5-12 x 1-2 cm, mucronate to acuminate, entire or remotely denticulate-serrate, sessile or with petiole to 6 cm, internodes to 8 cm, Verticillasters 5-16, 6-flowered, 1.5-6 cm distant. Bracts mucronate, acuminate or caudate, 1-6 cm. Calyx 9-13 mm, with dense eglandular hairs to 4 mm, teeth triangular- to linear-lanceolate, 3.5-5.5 mm, acute to acuminate,without or with short glands. Corolla yellow, 12-14 mm, hairy inside. Fl. 6-8. Pinus woods, rocky limestone slopes, 100-2000 m.
