Similar to Z. tenuior L. but stems usually taller , with longer linear to linear-lanceolate leaves; calyces longer equalling corolla with a much broader limb to c. 2 x calyx, reddish-violet, lilac or white. Fl..5-8. Steppe, rocky slopes, waste places, 100-1500 m.
