Bulb ovoid-cylindrical, 3-5 cm. Stem 15-20 cm, slender. Leaves 2, opposite, borne at ground level; lamina elliptic, 5-8 x 1.5-2.4 cm, acuminate, spotted. Perianth segments strongly reflexed, pink, violet in lower 1/4 outside, streaked orange in lower 1/4 inside, 2.5-3.5 x 4-6 mm, obtuse. Filaments c. 10 mm; anthers 5-8 mm, smoke-blue. Fl. 5. Woods.
