Tall perennial. Stems ± glabrous to stellate-tomentose. Upper leaves divided almost to the base into 5-7 oblong-oblanceolate, serrate or lobulate segments ±glabrous to sparsely stellate-pilose. Epicalyx segments short, less than ½ as long as the calyx. Calyx somewhat striate in flower. Petals pink, yellowish at the base, 40-55 mm. Mericarps pilose all over the back, not transversely rugose. FI. 7. Fallow fields and banks, 1300-1400 m.
