Usually branched. Spike lax. Calyx teeth triangular, acuminate, mostly shorter than calyx tube. Corolla white, lavender or purple, 10-12 mm, accrescent to 17 mm, lobes of lower lip rounded. Fl. 5-7. Mostly on Cannabis, Nicatiana, Lycopersicon and Armoracia rusticana, s.I.-900 m.
Europe, N. Africa, S.W. Asia eastwards to E. India. Introduced in N. America.
