Stems many from the crown, decumbent to ascending. Leaves glaucous, 2 x pinnatisect, the laciniae linear to linear-lanceolate. Sepals ovate to ovate-lanceolate, often denticulate near the apex. Petals yellow, the outer two weakly trilobed, with the outer lobes smaller than the median. Fruits borne on erect, usually unthickened pedicels. Lomentum curved, longitudinally striate, 4-6 cm. Fl. 3-6. Waste places, sea-shores, s.I.-300 m.
