Perennial, usually suffruticose, 30-70 cm. Leaves linear or linear-lanceolate, 30-50 x 1-5 mm. Racemes ± dense to lax, glabrous or glandular-pubescent. Bracts ovate. Pedicels to 5 mm in fruit. Calyx lobes ovate-oblong, obtuse, 4-6 mm, much shorter than corolla tube. Corolla pink or purplish, c. 30 mm. Capsule 8-10 mm, opening by 3 apical pores. Seeds 0,6-0,8 mm, sharply reticulate-rugose. Fl. 5-6. Coastal cliff's and walls, s.I.-c. 50 m.
