Differing from C. minus subsp. minus in its usually straighter stouter branches; pedicels strict in fruit; slightly longer hairs; slightly larger corolla ; spherical capsule; and especially in its seeds: 0,8-1 mm, broadly oblong, ± truncate at ends, with the ridges widely winged and fluted, higher than width of acutely papillose valleculae. Fl. 7-9. Valleys, screes, sandy soil and on serpentine, 1000-1650 m.
