Biennial or perennant, with few or no sterile basal shoots. Stem stouter than in D. cariensis, 30-80 cm. Raceme long, many-flowered and moderately dense; axis glandular-pubescent or sometimes shortly glandular-villous. Median leaves linear-lanceolate, 7-14 cm x 10-15 mm, glabrous or rarely sparsely ciliate. Bracts narrowly oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, glandular and ciliate, lower bracts shortly cuspidate and usually longer than lower flowers. Calyx lobes 6-9 mm, linear, very acute, usually cuspidate, densely glandular-pubescent or even shortly villosulous , without a margin of furry white hairs. Corolla reddish-brown, 20-25 mm; tube ventricose, dark-veined inside; lower lobe 7-13 mm, oblong, obtuse, whitish with reddish-brown veins, not or scarcely narrowed below. Capsule 13-15 mm . Fl. 5-6. Bushy slopes, limestone cliffs, fields, 90-800 m.
