Very slender, erect, glaucous annual, 10-40 cm, without sterile leafy shoots. Lower leaves opposite or whorled, the rest alternate, linear-filiform, 20-40 x 12 mm. Racemes lax. Bracts much shorter than flowering pedicels; pedicels very slender, 2-6 mm in flower, 4-13 mm in fruit. Calyx lobes 2-3 mm in flower, glabrous, linear-lanceolate, immarginate, subequal to corolla tube. Corolla lavender- blue, 6-9 mm, upper lip with recurved oblong lobes; spur subulate, incurved, 11-16 mm. Capsule orbicular, c. 4 mm, ± as long as calyx. Seeds angled, rugose-pitted, 0,8 mm. Fl. 5. Rocky igneous ravines, c. 1500 m.
