Slender, glaucous, erect perennial. Stems virgate, 20-40 cm or more, laxly branched above, Leaves filiform, 1-3cm x 0,5-1 mm, involute-margined. Racemes lax elongate. Bracts linear-lanceolate, ± equal to 1-4 mm pedicels; Calyx lobes ovate-oblong to lanceolate, 1,5-2,5 mm, acute, glabrous, narrowly white-margined. Corolla pale lilac , 7-9 mm, upper lip deeply and acutely bifid; spur conical, 2-2,5 mm. Capsule 2-2,5 mm, slightly longer than calyx. Seeds angled, rugulose, 1 mm. Fl. 5-8. Steppe, rocky, calcareous slopes , screes, fallow fields other open habitats , s.l.-2200 m.
