Much branched, glaucous perennial, with erect or ascending 10-30 cm stems. Leaves linear-filiform, 1-6 cm, involute-margined. Racemes ± lax. Bracts linear-lanceolate, ± equal to 1-2 mm pedicels. Calyx lobes linear-oblong, glabrous, 2-2,5 mm, white-margined, subacute. Corolla lilac or violet with paler palate, 9-10 mm, upper lip more shortly and obtusely lobed than in L. corifolia; spur subulate, 7-9 mm. Capsule 2-2,5 mm, equal to calyx or slightly longer. Seeds angled, 1 mm, rugulose. Flr. 5-. Calcareous steppe, sandy alld rocky plar:es, fallow fields, 900-1350 m.
Endemic. Ir.-Tur. element. Allied to the more widespread L. corifolia.
