Annual. Lower leaves linear-lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, upper leaves linear-lanceolate. Stems little branched. Racemes all terminal. Outer sepals linear, inner oblong, attenuate at the base and apex, green, with parallel, non-anastomosing veins. Corolla much shorter than the inner sepals. Filaments free for about ½ their length. Capsule sessile, obcordate. Fl. 3-5. Slopes etc.
