Perennial, 4-20 cm. Leaves with lamina 3,5-12 x 1-4 mm, oblong-elliptic, rarely with green or violet spots, margin entire. Pedicels 0,5-1,5 mm. Calyx pale lilac and pale pink, 3,5-4 x 1,5-2 mm, divided to ½ into ± obovate lobes. Capsule subglobose, included in calyx, with brownish-red dots. Seeds rugose. Fl. 5-8. Wet muddy places, subsaline to saline marshy ground, s.l-1720 m.
