Tall fistulose herb, 90-150 cm. Leaves pahnatifid, segments cuneate, with short, incised lobes. Racemes long, dense and narrow. Bracteoles borne on the lower part of the adpressed-pubescent pedicels. Flowers smoky lilac or pinkish . Sepals pubescent-pilose outside, the helmet at least twice as tall as broad, almost cyclindrical above, sinus nearly straight. Petals with the limb much shorter than the claw, spur circinate, larger than limb. Fl. 7-8 Forest, scrub, meadows, 1650-2200 m.
