Perennial, 60-100 cm. Stem flexuous, terete, striate, glabrous, crispect-pubescent or pilose below. Median leaves long-petioled, palmatisect, glabrous, 10-20 cm across, segments deeply divided into oblong or lanceolate laciniae. Raceme elongated, up to 30 cm, 2,5-3,5 cm broad, dense, glabrous. Bracts and bracteoles linear or linear-lanceolate. Flowers wine-purple, 16-20 mm; sepals glabrous; spur steeply ascending, cylindrical, with an upcurved, obtuse or subsaccate apex. Follicles glabrous. Fl. 6-7. Rocky limestone slopes, c. 1200 m.
