Plant 25-40 cm, adpressed-canescent, laxly and slenderly branched. Leaf laciniae linear, short, adpressed-pubescent. Flowers pale blue or mauve, 15-20 mm. Corolla 5-lobed; upper lobe with lobules rounded, longer than the acute, narrowly dentiform, intermediate lobes; lateral lobes oblique, broad, obtuse, separated from the intermediate lobes by a wide sinus; spur short, circinately involute. Follicle linear-oblong, 10-13 x 1,5-2 mm, attenuate below, rounded and abruptly rostrate at apex. Fl. 6-8. Steppe,fallow fields, 900-1300 m.
Endemic.; Ir.-Tur. element. Allied to C. aconiti & C. anthoroidea.
