Plant glabrescent, 10-90 cm, simple or sparsely branched. Leaf laciniae linear. Flowers not involucrate. Sepals yellowish, ovate, gradually attenuate into a short claw. Petals with the lower lip ovate and shortly bifid. Follicles compressed, oblong, 2-14, smooth, united at least to the middle, weakly divergent, usually slightly longer than the styles. Seeds discoid. Fl. 4-5. Segetal and ruderal habitats, s.l.-900 m.
