Perennial, 25-50 cm. Stem branched, glabrous or spreading-pilose. Radical leaves trisect, segments cuneate, deeply divided into oblong, toothed or laciniate lobes. Peduncles terete. Sepals strongly reflexed. Petals 7-18 mm. Torus glabrous, achene suborbicular, strongly compressed, c.4 m scarcely keeled; beak uncinate, 0,75-1,5 mm. Fl. 5-6. Meadows, flushes, forest clearings, rocky slopes, 1300-2400 m.
