Perennial, 30-60 cm, roots slender. Stems hirsute below like the petioles, much branched. Radical leaves as in R. neapolitanus but segments usually less narrowed at the base and lobes incised-dentate. Peduncles terete. Sepals strongly reflexed. Petals 8-10 mm. Torus glabrous. Achenes suborbicular, strongly compressed, c. 3 mm, margin narrowly keeled but not grooved; beak triangular 0,5 mm. Fl. 4-5. Wet places, s.l-1050 m.
