Diffuse, glabrous herb. Leaves biternate, with long flexuous petioles and rachides, the leaflets elliptic to orbicular, thin, rather deeply trilobed, the lobes crenate. Sepals persistent, much exceeding the stamens, lilac or rarely white, 7-12 mm. Achenes straight, oblong-acuminate, ridged, 5-6 mm. Fl. 4-7. Rocky slopes and crevices, 600-1200 m.
