Evergreen shrub, 0,75-3 m, branches alternate, young spines brown, pubescent. Leaf lamina obovate to linear oblanceolate, 10-25 x 2-10 mm, thick, margins revolute, glabrescent above, puberulent and prominently nerved beneath; petiole 1-5 mm, pubescent. Fruiting pedicels 3-5 mm. Disc puberulous. Fruit glabrous, seed groove not bifid. Fl. 5. Scrub, limestone cliffs, 100-1700 m.
