Erect or ascending perennial, 5-20 cm, slender. Basal leaves 10-20 cm; leaflets 2-3-paired, the 3 terminal ones much larger than the rest. Involucre 8-11 mm. Calyx segments 2-2,5 mm in open flowers, smaller and connivent in cleistogamous flowers. Petals 4-7 mm. Hypanthium 5-6 mm in fruit, globose, brownish, hairy. Fl. 5-7. Upland forest, 1000-1600 m.
