Caespitose, canescent-hirsute perennial with woody caudices and ascending flowering stems, 3-10 cm. Leaves digitate; leaflets 5, shortly petiolulate, oblongobovate, 5-10 mm, flabellate with 3 to 7 linear or oblong-elliptic segments, ± glabrous, green above, adpressed canescent-setulose beneath. Epicalyx segments linear-oblong, shorter than ovate-oblong, 3,5-4,5 mm sepals. Petals yellow, obovate, 5-6 mm, emarginate. Achenes rugose, carinate; style subterminal, slightly conical at base and clavate at apex. Fl. 5-7. On dry mountain slopes, 2450-3500 m.
