Ascending pubescent perennial, 20-30 cm. Leaves digitate; leaflets 5, rarely 7, elliptic or oblong-obovate, 10-20 x 5-12 mm, cuneate at base, deeply crenate-dentate or incised-serrate, sparsely adpressed villous beneath, especially on the veins, and with a few short glandular hairs above, sparsely pubescent or ± glabrous, green. Flowers in lax cymes. Epicalyx segments linear-lanceolate, slightly shorter than ovate-acuminate, c. 5 mm sepals. Petals yellow, obcordate, 6-6,5 mm. Achenes rugose, carinate; style subterminal, conical and minutely papillose at base, ± as long as achene. FI. 7-9. On hills, 1800-2000 m.
