Dwarf pubescent shrub with thick woody branches adpressed to rock. Leaves pinnate; leaflets 5, obovate to oblong, 5-15 mm, 4-8-toothed at apex, greyish-green. Flowers terminal, solitary or paired. Epicalyx segments linear-lanceolate, sepals ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 5-7 mm. Petals white, obovate, ± unguiculate, c. 5 mm, slightly shorter than sepals. Achenes pubescent; style sub-basal, filiform, longer than achene. Fl. 6-7. On vertical limestone cliffs, 1700-2450 m.
