Similar to G. peplidifolium but stems more slender, ±densely finely puberulent; leaves longer petiolate, hispidulous above; pedicels usually somewhat nodding; corolla lobes long aristate, with awns c. 1/2 as long as lobes. Fl. 5-7. Scrub, rocky places in open forest, 950-1510 m.
