Perennial with rhizome and long creeping, generally rooting stolons. Stems 20-30 cm, ascending, slender, flaccid, glabrous. Leaves 14-18 x 5-12 mm, ovate to suborbicular, apiculate, shortly petiolate, thin, sparingly hairy to glabrescent. Inflorescence corymbiform, few-flowered; bracts few; pedicels 5-15 mm. Corolla white or yellowish, 3-4 mm diam., rotate. Mericarps broadly ovoid, c. 1.5-2 mm, with spreading hooked hairs. Fl. 6-9. Woodland, 500-2000 m.
