Galium setaceum

 Seyrek iplikçik

Slender annual, 5-20 cm. Stems erect, more rarely ascending, quadrangular, finely retrorsely scabrid or glabrous, often branched in upper 1/2 or from base. Leaves in whorls of 6-8, 5-15 x 0.25-0.9 mm, lowest broadly obovate to oblanceolate, often only in pairs, ± obtuse to acute, antrorsely scabrid above and along the ±flat margins, upper setiform, obtuse to cuspidate, with very short hyaline apex, to c. 0.075 mm, antrorsely scabrid mainly along ± revolute margins and vein below, ± hirsute towards base above.  Inflorescence lax, diffuse, with elongate pyramidal to cylindrical, sometimes coryrnbiform branches, with cymes terminal and axillary, corymbose-capitate to loosely subcircinnate, 3-9-flowered, subtended by filiform bracts, 3-12 mm, antrorsely scabrid on margins to smooth. Peduncles to 15 mm and pedicels 1-8 mm, capillary, divaricate, glabrous. Corolla purplish, more rarely yellowish-green, 0.5-0.8 mm, with lobes apiculate to subaristate . Ovary with adpressed hairs on back or glabrous. Mericarps broadly reniform, 0.5-0.8 mm, densely covered with patent ± uncinate or adpressed hairs or glabrous. Fl. 3-6. Dry, open habitats, Quercus woods, s.l.-1200 m
