Suffruticose, glabrous herb. Stems many, erect, from a woody rhizome, 10-25 cm. Leaves narrowly oblong, apex acute, base attenuate, 10-30 x 2-4 mm. Flowers greenish or cream, 4-5-merous; perianth campanulate, 3-4merous, lobes triangular. Fruit globose to ovoid, c. 5.5 x 5.5 mm. Fl. 4-5. Pinus brutia forest, Juniperus scrub.
