Biennial, c. 50 cm, densely and shortly greyish- or whitish-tomentose, eglandular. Stem thickish, terete, branched from base. Basal leaves unknown; lower cauline elliptic, obtuse, 7-9 cm, short-petiolate, upper ovate to cordate, acute. Inflorescence loose, branched, forming oblong panicle, with clusters of 2-3 flowers. Bracts lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, acute to acuminate. Pedicels to 4 mm. Calyx 7-9 mm, lobes narrowly linear, acute. Corolla yellow, 15-18 mm diam., without pellucid glands, glabrous outside. Stamens 5, anthers reniform, filaments woolly up to anthers, wool white above, purple-violet below. Ovary oblong-elliptic, tomentose; capsule unknown.
