Perennial, 20-30 cm, with numerous multicellular eglandular and less numerous shorter glandular hairs throughout. Stem terete, simple. Basal leaves with 1-2 pairs ofsmall ovate lateral lobes and larger, broadly ovate terminal lobe, rounded, truncate or subcordate at base; upper cauline smaller, undivided. Inflorescence ± dense, 20-50-flowered. Lower bracts broadly ovate, serrate-dentate, upper bracts narrower, denticulate or entire. Pedicels 10-15 mm, ebracteolate. Calyx c. 3 mm, lobes ovate or oblong, acute. Corolla yellow, 12-16 mm diam., glabrous outside. Filaments with purple-violet wool, 2 anterior glabrous near apex. Capsule globose, c. 3 mm, glandular. Fl. 6. Rocks, 2000 m.
