Differs from V. arvensis in the corolla exceeding the sepals, the lower petal 15-18 mm, the whole flower cream to yellow to pink to blue, or mixtures of these colours. Fl. 6-8. Slopes, woods, stream banks, etc., s.l.-2200 m.
